All-or-nothing thinking is just one of many cognitive distortions. A cognitive distortion is a habitual thought pattern that leads a person to perceive reality inaccurately and negatively. I have experienced all the cognitive distortions in my life, especially during times of my depression— but now I can more calmly become aware when I am engaging in distorted thinking!
In this episode, I go over common examples of distorted thinking and six ways to overcome all-or-nothing thinking to help you live more joyfully in 2022.
