More about my honored guests:

Gabrielle Fundaro, PhD combines her knowledge of nutrition and motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate behavior change for flourishing health, embodying a positive relationship with food, body image, and physical activity as well as sport performance.

She is a board member of both the Nutrition Coaching Global Mastermind and the Sports Nutrition Association, and collaborates with a selection of colleagues to guide discussions and change toward best practices in the online nutrition coaching industry. She has transitioned from years in academia to years as a full-time coach, and has guided hundreds of clients (and students!) to their long-term goals.

In addition to teaching and mentoring, she has enjoyed the opportunity to share evidence-based recommendations in international seminars, podcasts, and contributions to magazines and companies such as Precision Nutrition, Shape, Oxygen, Reader’s Digest, and InStyle.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, weightlifting, learning, and the Arizona sunshine! @vitaminphd

Shannon Beer always had one foot in the fitness industry and a head in the clouds. After finishing her law degree she decided to switch paths to become a nutrition professional and explore more of the world. Spending the past two years living out of a suitcase has lead her to travel around the globe, and has given her a unique perspective on health, fitness, and what it means to live a fulfilling and enjoyable lifestyle.

She believe that our training and nutrition should enhance our life, not consume it, and health is about far more than simply aesthetics and performance (although that's nice too). She believes that health is an adaptive, emergent state arising from the synergism of the somato, psycho, socio and semiotic domains of health; her coaching practices consider that context.

She values truth, strength, compassion, vulnerability, humility, courage and commitment. Her weeks are a mixture of coaching, studying, reading, writing, hiking, travelling, lifting weights, and exploring  coffee shops. Most importantly, she love a good whiskey. @shannonbeer_
